Even Ducks need an ethical guideline. Why you may ask?  

Well, we all get caught up in our ideas of what is morally right and how we execute it on a daily basis.

As a team however, we want to make sure that we are all on the same page and that every one of us can have a say in how we shape our golden rules of ethicality.

We strive to practice what we believe in and try to make a positive impact on our planet, in our community and especially in our duck pond!

Being an ethical business is a constant challenge. There is no ready-made solution nor is there a to-do list that needs to be checked off, but more a constant work in progress.

We live in a capitalist world and as such, we navigate in a minefield of ethical conundrums.  

That is why we need to stay critical of ourselves, check in with each other to stay on track with our vision and to constantly educate ourselves on current relevant topics.

From our processes, to our relationships we attempt to examine every aspect internally and externally of the studio.

All of that with the close watch of our detail-orientated animation team – after all we do animation, we know the art of detail!

  • Our salaries are transparent, openly communicated and fairly distributed between senior and entry-level roles. 
  • Everyone is met and treated with kindness and respect. Constructive criticism is always welcome and we encourage everyone to participate in active exchange within the team.  
  • We dedicate time and budget to internally develop personal/passion projects.

  • We disclose our finances and provide any information the client wishes to know.
  • We support and guide our clients by providing useful tools which they can use to understand our processes. This helps to get the most competitive options available for them.
  • We want to work with people who love what they do and who want efficiency and quality creative work.
  • We use innovative workflows to optimise efficiency.
  • We focus on helping our clients to reduce waste in resources, time and budget.

for our community

  • We promote new artists to create awareness for the amazing talents out there.
  • We dedicate 10% of our annual profits to provide animations or other services to non-profit organizations or charities for free.
  • We have frequent internal training to educate our team on current topics close to our heart.

  • We choose projects that share our environmental values and morals.
  • We educate our team on current environmental issues on a regular basis.
  • We create the world we want to live in by finding more sustainable ways of working and living.
